My professional experience and unique approach will provide the community with the necessary skills for successfully completing the minimum requirements for the Maryland Wear and Carry or HQL. My background as a law enforcement firearm instructor as well as civilian instructor for the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, and affiliated instructor with the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network will give students different perspectives while obtaining the needed information.
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in firearms training. Owning or carrying a firearm is a real commitment and one that requires practice, training and first and foremost, safety. All of this is covered in the class.
When you complete this instruction, you will have the skills to begin the journey down the path of responsible self protection. The start. The training and practice must continue. You are responsible for maintaining a high level of safety and proficiency. This concept will be covered in the instructions.
If you decide you want to purchase a firearm or wear and carry one, give me a call. We can discuss the classroom instruction, the live-fire portion and the responsibility of firearm ownership. Remember, there is an attorney attached to every round you fire!
Also available is training classes for pistol mounted red dots (or green dots)
Classes are at my range and are a full day of training. You will need electronic hearing protection, eye protection and 300 rounds of factory loaded ammo. A baseball style hat too. A gun belt and strong side holster. Three magazines and magazine pouches worn on gun belt. These items are a MUST HAVE! No exceptions. Cost is $200. This is not for new handgun shooters! Students must be able to safely handle their weapon and shoot reasonably well.
Cost is $125 for the Wear & Carry Class (Renewals $60 / HQL $60)
